i'm going going back back

I'm sweaty. Bad way to start. I am alone. The family has gone and left, not without a lot of fighting, cursing, money spending, and drinks a'drinking. We had fun. But I am ready to go home. So much has happened this past month and a half. So much even since the last time I posted a blog. For starters, my roommate tried to fight me at the happenin Central Park dance club. Blame it on the alcohol, but I know there was hostility there. It was a long month living with four (and a half?) other roommates and I know we were about ready to kill one another towards the end. And perhaps I am hard to live with. I can admit to that. But honestly, I am leaving this place with beautiful memories of each and every one of my roommates, fighting aside. Each weekend was breathtaking and it is because of my roommates that I enjoyed it so much. I have that to thank them. It was a good night, that aside, and I left kicking myself for never going to that club before. Oh, did I mention I brought Tess to Central Park? Yeah, it was the day my family got in. I wanted Tess to meet all my roommates and for all of us to show her a good time. Things changed. I accidentally knocked Natalie in the eye with my elbow while dancing, Irum poured her drink out and said "I'm just kidding. Relax." Oh and then Irum tried to fight me. All in a night's fun. Tess was quite amused. But I am going to change subjects. The last week and a half with my family has been quite interesting. We spent three nights in Florence, went to the Uffizi and the Ponte Vecchio. Then to the Cinque Terre-ish. It was more like Cinque Terre's distant, more Italian, more happening cousin. But it was gorgeous and peaceful nonetheless. Then to Lucca for a night, over to Siena, and back to Florence. They left this morning. And here I sit at my internet cafe. I forgot to mention a few other things. More to come on the plane...
